The work environment affects the morale and productivity of the employees. How you showcase your workplace can have a positive or negative effect on the people in it. But making an environment conducive for work is a lot harder than you think; we can say that it is like building a home for your kids, only this time, the kids are a lot grown up, can whine a lot about management, can heckle for incentives, have egos to protect, and can tear down your walls when exposed to a lot of pressure. You have to provide just the right amount of space for work to take place and at the same time for them to freely move around. A bit of mixing and matching the furniture for aesthetic purposes won’t hurt since a good office design can lighten up the mood in the office and make it more conducive for work.
